A Hands-On Brave Day for Kids · $50/child

Does your child dread blood draws, shots, or doctor visits?

The Poke Pals Clinic is a small-group, hands-on preparation experience where children explore real medical tools, practice coping skills, and discover that brave looks different for everyone — in a safe, playful setting, before the real thing ever happens.

Created by Franchesca Kelly, a pediatric phlebotomist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), every station is grounded in exposure-based, trauma-informed practice. This isn't a class. It's an adventure.

Patient Passport

Their official adventure booklet — collect a stamp at every station!

Six Stations to Explore

🩺 Station 1 · Meet the Helpers

Get up close with a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, pulse oximeter, thermometer, otoscope, and reflex hammer — and ask all the questions you want.

❤️ Station 2 · My Amazing Body

Measure your height, weight, head circumference, heart rate, pulse ox, and blood pressure — and write your numbers in your Passport!

🧸 Station 3 · Stuffy's Check-Up

YOU become the helper. Practice on a stuffed animal using real supplies — alcohol wipes, bandages, Coban wrap, a tourniquet, and more.

🎈 Station 4 · Brave Breathing

Learn the Smell the Flower, Blow the Pinwheel technique — then design your very own take-home pinwheel in your favorite colors.

🦸 Station 5 · Superhero Coping Skills

Explore a choice board of 12 coping tools and build your personal Brave Plan for your next appointment.

🩹 Station 6 · Band-Aid Boutique

The most important stop in the clinic — choose your own Band-Aid from our collection: Dinosaurs, Princesses, Bluey, Sparkles, Superheroes, or Animals.

🎖️ Graduation

Earn your official Poke Pals Bravery Certificate and a tiny prize. You did it!
